This year's Summer Fancy Food Show by the Specialty Food Association event was nothing short of spectacular.
That's a wrap! 2023 Summer Fancy Food Show is in the books. Our partnership with Giada De Laurentiis and her online e-commerce site, Giadzy.com, debuted at our show booth featuring the launch of her brand new line of Giadzy pasta! We're proud to provide the logistic support necessary to ensure such a veritable encyclopedia of curated Italian specialty products are always available to their customers.
A STAR STUDDED AFFAIR
Our partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for Ciao Imports, as we take on the task of managing import logistics for Giadzy.com's ever expanding catalog of curated Italian specialty foods. Giada also served as the keynote speaker for the event highlighting her views on the changing landscape of e-commerce with her talk, 'The Four Trends in Food that Matter Now.'
THE PERFECT CHEF PAIRING
Guest Chef Simone Parisotto, hailing from Insight Eatery in Abruzzo, Italy, tantalized Fancy Food attendees with inventive creations featuring Giadzy's ingredients and other products from Ciao Imports. Assisted by Chef Giorgia Rinaldi, founder of Happy Mama in Italy, the dynamic duo served dishes that captivated attendees, offering a taste of true Italian culinary artistry.
SPICING THINGS UP
The booth buzzed with energy as the creators behind the showcased brands shared their stories with eager guests. Brands like Pasta Zaccagni, Masseria Dauna, Centonze, Guerzoni, Bio Orto, and I Dolci Sapori dell Etna transported attendees to the diverse landscapes of Italy through their exquisite offerings. From the breathtaking landscapes of Abruzzo to the sun-kissed fields of Puglia, these makers brought the essence of Italy to the heart of NYC. The crowds marveled at the authenticity of the products and reveled in the opportunity to engage directly with the passionate individuals behind each brand.
BEYOND THE PLATE
Ciao Imports didn't just stop at savory delights; we were fortunate to add fresh breads from our partner, Sullivan Street Bakery, adding the perfect accompaniment to our pasta. After all, what's pasta without the city's greatest bread?
Additionally, our booth welcomed Chef Lior Lev Sercarz of La Boite spices, a culinary maestro renowned for his expertise. Sharing space with Chef Lior elevated our booth's atmosphere, creating a sensory experience that resonated with the discerning tastes of attendees.
EYES ON 2024 FANCY FOOD SHOW
As the curtains closed on the 2023 Summer Fancy Food Show, we, at Ciao Imports, find ourselves reeling from the excitement of such an energy-filled event. Surrounded by movers and shakers in the specialty food industry, we are thankful for the opportunity to share our passion with the world.
Looking forward, we are eager to return in 2024, ready to make an even greater impact. Until then, we extend our gratitude to all who made this experience unforgettable, promising to continue delivering the best of Italian specialty foods to our customers worldwide. Grazie mille!
