Shaped like little bags, the fiocchi pasta is made with high-quality durum wheat semolina and barn eggs, resulting in a tender, supple pasta. The flavorful filling combines the creaminess of Robiola, Grana Padano DOP, Taleggio DOP, and Ricotta cheeses with the sweetness of dehydrated pear, creating a delightful balance of savory and sweet.

  • Filling Composition: The filling makes up 38% of each fiocchi, consisting of 42% dehydrated pear and 36% cheese (Robiola, Grana Padano DOP, Taleggio DOP). Ricotta and breadcrumbs enhance the texture and flavor, resulting in a creamy, delicate filling.
  • Pasta Composition: The pasta is made from 100% durum wheat semolina and barn eggs (18.5%), offering a firm yet soft texture that complements the sweet and savory filling.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Boil salted water, and without defrosting, add the frozen fiocchi to the water.
  • Cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, then drain and season as desired.
  • For optimal results, use one liter (33.8 fl oz) of boiling water for every 100 grams (3.5 oz) of pasta.
