Laboratorio Tortellini’s Potato Gnocchi is a fresh frozen pasta made from high-quality ingredients, including potato puree and durum wheat semolina. These soft, pillowy gnocchi have a ridged surface that allows them to absorb sauces perfectly, making them ideal for a variety of Italian dishes. The light yellow color and soft texture offer a traditional gnocchi experience that is both satisfying and versatile.

Key Features:

  • Ingredients: Made with 66% potato puree (water, 23% potato flakes, emulsifiers, and spices), potato starch, soft wheat flour "00", durum wheat semolina, corn starch, and salt. The gnocchi are lightly coated with rice flour on the surface to prevent sticking.
  • Pasta Characteristics: These gnocchi have the typical potato gnocchi shape with ridged surfaces and a soft, light yellow appearance. The texture remains tender and soft after cooking, ensuring a smooth bite.
  • IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Process: Each gnocchi is frozen using the IQF method, preserving the product's freshness and quality while ensuring easy portion control and handling.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Boil salted water, and without defrosting, add the frozen gnocchi to the water.
  • Once the water returns to a boil, cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally. The gnocchi are done when they float to the surface.
  • Drain and season to taste. For optimal results, use one liter of boiling water for every 100 grams of gnocchi.
