Strozzapreti, known for its slightly twisted and elongated shape, offers a delightful texture and a bright yellow color. This traditional pasta pairs wonderfully with rich sauces, making it a versatile option for both classic and modern Italian dishes.

  • Ingredients: Made from 100% durum wheat semolina, barn eggs (18.5%), water, and salt. This combination provides a firm texture that holds up well during cooking.
  • Pasta Characteristics: Strozzapreti is characterized by its slightly helicoidal shape, designed to hold sauces. The deep yellow color is typical of egg pasta, and its supple texture ensures a satisfying bite.
  • IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Process: Each Strozzapreti is frozen using the IQF method, preserving the pasta’s freshness and quality while making portion control and handling convenient.

Cooking Instructions:

  • Boil salted water, and without defrosting, add the frozen Strozzapreti to the water.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, then drain and season as desired.
  • For optimal results, use one liter of boiling water for every 100 grams of pasta.
