Guerzoni’s Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP ‘Extravecchio’ is a certified artisanal product aged for over 25 years. Made from organic, Demeter-certified cooked grape must, this vinegar is matured in progressively smaller wooden barrels to concentrate its aroma and complexity. The result is a deep, glossy vinegar with layered notes of wood, raisin, and a velvety sweetness balanced by gentle acidity.
Demeter certification is awarded only to farms that follow strict biodynamic principles, including biodiversity, soil fertility, and natural composting methods. These standards exceed organic regulations, ensuring exceptional purity and sustainable production practices.
Bottled in the official 100ml DOP format, it’s perfect for finishing dishes such as Parmigiano Reggiano, strawberries, seared meats, or even gelato.
